Filing for Johnston County general elections begins on Monday, February 13 at noon and ends on Wednesday, February 29 at noon.

Eligible seats include United States Congressman 7^th District, which is currently held by Mike McIntyre. Five District Court Judges’ seats are up for grabs, including those of Paul Holcombe, Robert Bryant, Jr., Jackie Lee, Henry Willis, Jr., and Resson Faircloth.

State Senate Districts 10, 11 and 12 will be on the ballot in 2012, as well as House Districts 22, 26 and 28. Also on the ballot will be Commissioners from Districts 1, 2, 4 and 6.

Rounding out the list of eligible seats representing Johnston County are the Board of Education seats currently held by Donna White, Keith Branch, Dr. Peggy Smith, Mike Wooten.
