Local author Jacquelin Thomas visits with readers at the Southeast Regional Library during the African American Book Club Feb. 25. During the Polar Bear Winter Reading Club finale participants got to make snowflake ornaments. The School Age Special wrapped up Feb. 27. Young readers got the chance to sit by the fire, enjoy a cup of cocoa and listen to a cold-weather tale.
