The Rotary Club of Central Johnston County recently held its 20th Annual Golf Tournament, to raise money for scholarships for students at the local High Schools and Johnston Community College. This year the tournament raised over $40,000 to help students obtain their goals of attending college. Over the last 20 years the tournament has raised over $380,000 for scholarships. The tournament was a great success with the help of contributing sponsors. This year’s title sponsor was Four Oaks Bank and Trust and the Co-Title sponsor was Sampson Bladen Oil Company. The club would also like to thank Fred and Linda Jensen for their generous contribution.
