Josiah Rex and Les Brown collect food donated during a special service at Mount Zion United Methodist Church for Shepherd's Shelf, a food pantry operated at Flowing Waters World Outreach Center at 901 Old Fairground Road. Mount Zion UMC collects food each month in support of Shepherd's Shelf, which provides food to over 80 area families. Shepherd's Shelf is seeing an increase in the number of families requesting assistance and is seeking additional volunteers and food and financial donations. Shepherds Shelf operates the first and third Saturday of each month. Mount Zion UMC is located on Hwy 50, just south of Hwy 42 in the Cleveland community.
