Two new and two returning trustees at Johnston Community College took their oath of office at the July board meeting.

John Hatch of Four Oaks, a retired JCC administrator, was appointed to the board by the Johnston County Commissioners to replace Joan Jones. SGA President Thomas Currier of Clayton is the new student trustee.

April Culver of Smithfield and Doug Oglesby of Benson have both been reappointed for four-year terms by the governor and the Johnston County Board of Education, respectively. Culver, a vice president at Johnston Health, has served the College for four years. Oglesby, an operations manager at PGI, has been a trustee for 12 years.
