JCC raises money for cancer

The Johnston Community College Relay for Life 2009 team raised some $12,000 for the Johnston County Relay for Life. The team was named an All-Star Team for its fundraising efforts. Jeanne Whisnant, co-captain of the team, presents JCC President David Johnson with the All-Star Relay for Life plaque. Also pictured are Art Andrews, team co-captain; and team member GeAnne Pope. The 2010 Johnston County Relay for Life event will be held May 28-29 on the JCC campus.
