November 16th-20th Polenta's 5th Grade Student Council took up donations for non-perishable food and household items to be donated to Basic Needs Ministry. This food pantry serves the Cleveland Community by providing local families in need with clothes and food. The student council members were very excited to lend a helping hand to collect items to support this local organization and also learn the valuable lesson of giving back to the community. This collection will hopefully support many families in the area especially during the upcoming holidays.
