Middle College students celebrate graduation

On May 20, 54 seniors graduated from Johnston County Middle College High School. Families and graduates were welcomed by Student Government Class President, John-Mark Hales. Stephen Xavier Greenwood and Linaka De’Anna Norman also received Associate’s degrees from JCC, as well as their high school diplomas. Stephen received an Associate in Science and Linaka an Associate in Arts. These are college transfer degrees. Linaka will enter UNC-Chapel Hill with Junior status and Stephen will enter NCSU with Junior status. They are the 1st two students in the history of MCHS to complete high school and college degree at the same time! The following students received “Outstanding Achievement Awards”: Honors English 4:
