Art exhibit comes to Clayton

Clayton, NC – June 2, 2010 - The Pastel Paintings of Darlene Holland will be on exhibit in the Green Room for the Month of June at the Eye of the Eagle Art in Clayton, NC. The exhibit runs from June 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010. The closing reception for the artist and guests will be on Friday June 25, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.

Holland graduated from Clayton High School and now resides in Selma, NC with her husband.

The mission of The Eye of the Eagle Art is to support the arts, the artists both professional and emerging, and bring the arts alive in the community.

The gallery and art center is located at 131 E First Street, Clayton, NC 27520. Gallery Hours are 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
