“The tournament was a great success because of wonderful sponsors,” said Jernigan. “Without their help and the help of the community, the event wouldn’t be possible. We have been blessed that the tournament can benefit so many students in Johnston County and we are looking forward to next year’s tournament, which will be held April 15, 2011.”
Lorine Davis, Executive Director of the Education Foundation, on behalf of the students who will benefit from the funds, thanked Ms. Jernigan and Ms. Callahan and the Rotarians and supporters who were present at the banquet.
