Robert W. Bryant Jr. of Selma and Allen L. Mims Jr. of Clayton have been reappointed to four-year terms on the Johnston Community College Board of Trustees.

Reappointed by Gov. Beverly Perdue, Bryant has served as a college trustee since 1999. He currently serves as vice chairman on the 13-member board. Bryant is a district court judge for the 11th judicial district, which includes Johnston, Harnett, and Lee counties.

Mims, vice chairman of the Johnston County Board of Commissioners, was appointed to the college board by the county commissioners earlier this year when he filled the unexpired term of commissioner Cookie Pope. Mims is the owner and operator of Leallen Farms and has served as a county commissioner since 1998.

Bryant and Mims were sworn in at the July 8 trustee meeting.
